Why is this different from standard promotions? Our strong digital and above-the-line campaigns, allow you to benefit from the increased customer traffic on takealot.com at no additional cost to you. As you will see and hear across our ads, the Fire Sale is a price-driven promotion and all applications will be reviewed with discounts in mind. |

One sale means one application
As
with our other curated sales, you do not need to split out your
applications between Promotions and Daily Deals. Instead, apply
with all of your best deals into the Fire Sale Promotion on
the Promotions Application page and our team will allocate these to the
best-suited dates and locations. Please note that this means that Daily Deal slots will not be available for the dates of the Fire Sale i.e. 22 February to 7 March (dates inclusive). If you have applied for Daily Deals during this period, it will be moved to the Fire Sale. |
| Don't forget to check the requirements We provide the requirements to participate in our Promotions and Daily Deals on the application forms, as well as in the Marketplace Promotions and Deals Guide. For quick reference, see the below requirements for Themed Promotions: the deal price may not equal or be higher than the current Selling Price of the product on your Manage My Offers page the RRP must be captured on the Manage My Offers page of your Seller Portal prior to submitting your application you will receive an “Insufficient Saving” rejection if this is not captured as our system will not be able to calculate the saving the discount to the customer is determined by looking at the discount between your deal price and the RRP the difference must be more than 10% the discount may not be more than 75% apply with a minimum of 5 units the turnover must be more than R6900 including VAT this is calculated units x deal price including VAT |
